libfile-rsync-perl software package provides Perl module interface to rsync, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libfile-rsync-perl
libfile-rsync-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libfile-rsync-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libfile-rsync-perl *
You will get with libfile-rsync-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
